🎓 Academic Journey – A Life of Continuous Learning
From her earliest days, Padmini’s love for learning was unstoppable:
- 1969 – Completed SSLC at Sivakasi Hindu Nadar’s Victoria Higher Secondary School, scoring 100% in Algebra & Geometry, and was honored by the then Chief Minister K. Kamaraj.
- 1970 – Completed Pre-University (PUC) at Standard Match Works Rajarathinam Women’s College, securing first mark in Tamil.
- 1973 – Graduated with a B.Sc. degree from St. Joseph’s College, Trichy.
- 2010 – Completed M.A. (Hindi Translation) from Bhasha Bhavan Hindi Prachar Sabha, Chennai.
- 2014 – Earned M.A. in Hindi through distance education.
- 2015 – Obtained M.Phil (Research on Middle-Class Women’s Life).
- 2017 – Awarded the prestigious Ph.D. for her extensive research on Tamil and Hindi comparative literature.
Her academic milestones reflect the truth that learning has no age limit. She earned her Doctorate at the age of 60, proving that passion never retires.

- Served as a Hindi scholar and educator for over 17 years, promoting the language through K.P. Hindi Academy, founded in 2014 at Madhuravoyal, Chennai.
